Latest News August 13, 2008 Sonata Arctica, Operatika Tickets for Sale. June 27, 2008 We have received an official release date for our upcoming album "The Calling". It is due to come out on November 17th through Scarlet Records. We are very excited and can't wait till "The Calling" is out. After investing ourselves into this album for such a long time we are very eager to present it to our fans and friends. June 26, 2008 We are thrilled and honored to announce that bassist, Michael LePond from Symphony X, will appear on bass with Operatika at " The Chance" show on August 31st as support for Sonata Arctica. March 25, 2008 We are finally happy to announce that Operatika is now a part of the Scarlet Records roster. January 29, 2008 Hi everyone! 2007 was a very busy and productive year for Operatika. With several big live shows, our main focus has been our album which is finally near completion! We have some very important news which will be posted shortly, so please stay tuned. September 20, 2007 October 6th Overkill, Epica, Operatika discount tickets available for $15 September 13, 2007 We have been working hard on our ablum in the recording studio. Michael LePond has finished bass parts before leaving for another tour with Symphony X. Vocals are almost complete with mixing and mastering coming up soon. Our next upcoming show is on September 28th at The Chance supporting Sonata Arctica and Firewind, after which we will be back at Starland Ballroom on October 6th opening for Overkill and Epica. For details see gigs page. Since Diego was unable to commit to Operatika full-time, our old friend Jim Norton will be performing with us at the upcoming gigs. Looking forward to seeing you all there! May 20, 2007 In our most recent news, we are excited to announce that all bass parts on our forthcoming album will be recorded by Michael LePond from Symphony X.         The album is almost complete and will be released later this year. While our news section has not been updated for a couple of months, we have been hard at work on our recording, auditioning for a new bass player, arranging new songs and working on our 2007 concert schedule. We want to thank our former bass player Stan for his time with Operatika. It was great to have him with us but unfortunately, due to the differences in our long term goals and commitments he is no longer with us. Operatika is happy to welcome our new bass player Diego. We are excited that he is joining our band and look forward to two already confirmed new shows for 2007: supporting DORO at BB King on June 5 and supporting Sonata Arctica at The Chance on September 28. As soon as we are able, we will post all the details regarding release dates and record label details. 2007 looks to be another productive and busy year for Operatika.
